Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

• Payment is due 30 days from the date of the invoice.
• Accepted payment methods: BACS, Cash, Cheque and Card.
• Certificates will only be issued once full payment has been received.
• All prices are subject to VAT at the current rate.
• Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
• Late payments may incur interest charges at 3% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily.

Working Conditions

• Normal working hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Our quotation assumes work can begin immediately upon arrival and continue without interruption. Charges may apply where this has not been applied
• Electric, water, and welfare facilities must be freely available to our staff.
• The client is responsible for ensuring suitable access to the site on the agreed dates. Missed appointments or delays due to access issues may incur additional charges.

Additional Charges

• Any parking or congestion charges will be added to the invoice and are subject to VAT.
• Cancellation within 48 hours may incur a penalty fee.
• Restocking fees apply for cancelled quotes involving non-stock items.

Site Conditions & Liability

• We aim to leave the site clean and tidy.
• Where we lift flooring, we will re-fit to the best of our ability. A professional flooring contractor may be required (not included in our pricing).
• In some instances, we may need to damage walls, floors, or ceilings to create access. In these cases, a separate quote will be provided for any required decorating or making good works.
• Materials remain the property of Positive Contractors Ltd until the final payment is received.
• A 1-year warranty on parts and labour is provided from the completion date.
• The warranty does not cover issues arising from misuse, third-party interference, or failures caused by unrelated system components. Any faults reported outside the warranty period may be subject to standard call-out and repair charges. This warranty does not apply to drainage due to the nature of these works.
• Any unforeseen works or variations not included in the original quote will be discussed with the client and agreed in writing before proceeding. These may incur additional charges.
